Its been awhile since I last blogged on here! :) Well I have had alot go on. From gaining new friends, to losing some. From my life plans failing, to new ones created. I'm learning from my mistakes alot and I'm trying to learn from them. Repeating my old mistakes is not in my vocabulary. I'm gonna be honest, I'm not a fan of relationships. Or not the whole 'getting into' a relationship. It is just a bunch of over analyzing and awkwardness. I tried the singleness for awhile, about two years. A good friend of mine convinced me to join a dating website called plentyoffish.com. I really didn't want to, cuz I've done that several times before, and was just sick of it. She convinced me to take another shot at it. She said, "You never know! :)" So i took a chance. "Why not," I told myself. I made a profile, put a few pics of myself up, and just browsed a few profiles. The next day I checked it, and have several messages from single men. A bunch of them were cheesy, and from alot of older men in their 40's. NOT MY TYPE! After looking through alot of the messages, there were a few men that were close to my age, and decent looking. I have talked to a few guys online, not really any connection at the time. One of them in particular stuck out. So far so good. I have talked to him on the phone the last couple of nights. He seems like a genuine guy, with a good heart. Who knows though, I have a date with him next Thursday night. I just hope it goes well. Honestly though, I really hate trying to get into a new relationship with someone new. Not to be pessimistic, but you have to talk about alot of your past, which I'm not about. I'm now, looking towards the future, taking one step at a time. I guess the past made me who I am today. So I should be thankful for that. :) Okay, I'll stop rambling on.
